A session id is one phone launch, not a person’s name. The key id is the encryption key, and it is usually the same for every phone. Give a session a name when you know who it is.

Select a session. Gaps are pauses of more than 60 seconds between envelopes stored here. A pause can be the phone, the network, or this computer.

Results are metadata only: time, counts, and alert totals. Leave session id blank to include every session. With no filters, the query is the last 24 hours, up to 200 rows.

The file is the encrypted envelopes, one JSON object per line. Decrypt it on a machine that has the private key. Preparing a long session can take a minute.

Type and dates only choose which rows are shown. They do not change what is recorded. The table lists the newest 200 matching rows. Uploads are one row per envelope, so All is mostly recent uploads unless you set a short time range. Passwords and ciphertext are not in this log.

Backup copies

The copy goes to the 1.9 TB disk labeled New Volume, which is separate from the Ubuntu system disk and from the Windows C: partition. A copy is also made about every 6 hours while that disk is mounted. Only the two newest database copies are kept. Each backup also copies the token files and the tunnel setup into sdii-backup/server on that disk.

An approved person creates the account and chooses the password. Only a hash of that password is kept, and the password is not shown here. Enter a name that is already approved to change whether that person can approve others. Clear password keeps the name approved and makes the old password stop working, so that person can create the account again. Removing a name blocks sign-in.
